Kacey Lovell and Stuart Goble both grew up on family farms in Westfield, Illinois, and have been involved in agriculture all of their lives. Thirteen years ago the two friends and neighbors began working together selling seed in addition to running their own farming operations. Over time, they began to offer more and more services for farmers in the local area. In just a few short years their business, County Line Seeds, had outgrown their farms so they constructed a new facility to house their rapidly growing business on Route 49, just a mile north of Westfield, Illinois.
Their main service areas include Coles, Clark, Edgar, and Cumberland Counties in Illinois; however, County Line Seeds has expanded its services all over the United States. In 2016, in addition to their already successful seed sales business, County Line Seeds began selling Agricultural chemical, even further expanding their rapidly growing business. In 2018 County Line Seeds once again expanded their business by offering trucking services where they now offer liquid fertilizer transport, bulk commodity trucking, dry van freight, as well as dump truck and dump trailer services. The business expanded even more in 2019 when they began offering custom soybean seed treatment essentially making the process of buying seed from County Line Seeds as easy and streamlined for their customers as possible.
